Susan G Komen Race for the Cure

Below are some pictures that were taken at the October 10th Birmingham/Linn Park 18th Annual North Central Alabama "Race For The Cure".

CWA Local 3902 was there...Walking for the Cure. There was rain, but in that rain was one of the largest crowds in record history for this race in Birmingham. There were little kids, big kids and parents...there were little puppies, big dogs and dog owners and most of all there were the BREAST CANCER SURVIVORS who proudly walked and ran the race, ranging from various ages. PINK WAS IN THE AIR along with PINK FLOWING WATER from the center of the fountain located in Linn Park. It was simply nostalgic. James Vines was the CWA Team Captain.
